Keeping your data safe

We protect client information with administrative, technical and physical safeguards that follow the data security laws that apply to us. Client data, including CRM exports and advertising data, is encrypted and available only to the people who need it to do the work.

How we use AI

We use AI-assisted tools for tasks such as writing code and improving search visibility. Sensitive client data is never used to train public language models, and a person reviews every AI output before it goes live.

Partners who help us deliver

We work with a network of execution partners who are contractually required to meet US-grade security standards. We share data with them only to deliver your service, and we never sell it.

How long we keep data

Project data is kept for 24 months after a project ends. If you would like it permanently deleted sooner, email hello@clixious.com and we will take care of it.

Payments and cancellations

Once a Statement of Work is signed, deposits and milestone payments are non-refundable and count as earned when we receive them. The sections below explain how that applies to each service.

How this works for each service

Web Design and CRO: the deposit secures the planning and architecture phase. After you approve the design, the project moves into development, and the full contract value stays payable whatever stage the project has reached.

SEO and AEO: initial fees pay for the technical audit and the keyword strategy map. These are standalone deliverables, so they are not refundable.

Paid Media: setup fees cover conversion tracking and analytics integration. Once tracking is live, the setup phase is complete.

Paused projects

If a project stalls for more than 10 business days because we are waiting on materials from you, it moves to inactive status. Restarting it carries a reactivation fee of 15% of the total project cost.

Disputed payments

By accepting our services you agree not to dispute charges for work that has been delivered. If a payment is reversed without our agreement, we may remove the digital assets we manage on your behalf, including source code and ad accounts.
